Finally!

After moving into a new house, starting the kids at new schools, and all the things associated with moving have been taken care of, I have a few minutes to take a breath. Things are up and running, but not as smoothly as we would like. One problem is that my wife is still working in the town where we used to live, a two hour drive away. She is looking for work locally, but nothing promising as of yet.

As for me, all my kids are in school this year. A first. My youngest is now in all-day kindergarten which leaves me with the day to my self  on days my wife is at work. For a stay-at-home dad, that would seem like a dream situation. I now have loads of time to clean, unpack, and organize. But the reality is that because of the way the economy is currently, we find it necessary for me to seek employment or, my preference, work at home.
