The past few days things have kind of gotten off track. First, my daughter Z got really sick with fever and vomiting. Today, she seems to be fully recovered. Then my wife M got really sick with similar symptoms. But her throat got really swollen. She is on antibiotics now. Hopefully they will take care of it because of they don't, she will probably have to go to the hospital for intravenous antibiotics. And now, my son, Z is apparently sick with the same thing that my wife and daughter have contracted. Currently he is sleeping. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery. He is already quite a bit behind in his virtual school (which is a topic for another post).
I feel so helpless seeing them sick and knowing how bad they feel and there is nothing I can really do to make them feel better.
I am just waiting to start feeling the symptoms any day now because I know pretty much for certain that I will also get sick. Almost always when one of the kids gets sick, the rest of us fall like dominoes. I don't know why it On the bright side, at least we are getting sick before and not on Christmas.
