Today was a pretty productive day. I moped the kitchen, cleaned the living room, cleaned the kids' bathroom and cleaned the back room. I even got the kids to help out for a change. M is working today, tomorrow and Monday double shifts so Tuesday will definately be her sleep-in day. Hopefully I can get the kids to cooperate so that she can get the sleep she needs after all that work.


Now that I have the back room set up the way I want it, all I am missing is a power strip and it will be a fully functioning office. A brighter lamp would also be full. I will finally have a place to do my writing for the upcoming NaNoWriMo event starting November 1st. I saw where they also have a contest for young writers. i will try and convince N to enter. I am sure that she could write something good. Probably even better than I can.

I am going to try and get some writing done tonight. I have an idea for a new blog and need to start generating some content. I looked up how to alter the templates on Blogger.com but with my limited knowledge of HTML and total lack of knowledge of CSS the task for me is on the edge of impossible. I could increase my working knowledge of HTML and CSS but my kids would probably be in college by the time I learned anything useful. If only I could find someone who would do it for free...another impossibility I guess, so I guess I will stick to the pre-made ones on the site.
