I have had this urge to start a new blog for a while now, but just haven't taken any steps to make it happen. But now that urge is stronger than ever.
My first step, and still not finished, was to decide how to host it. I want to try and get this blog to make. There are a number of options that I can go with, each with its pros and cons. Should I stick with Blogger, or go with something more popular like WordPress or TypePad. I really wanted to use Userland, but I discovered that they shut down the service back in January. I can still download their software, but would have to host it somewhere else. I also looked into Greymatter. It is a free software package, but like Userland, I would have to find a place to host it. Plus I would need to learn Perl.
I did come up with a name though: Tall Tales and Short Lies. It might be totally fictional posts that seem like real stories or a combination of real and made up stores. Or, maybe it isn't such a good idea, but I will try it and see how it goes...because I can. Hopefully the content will come easier than getting the site set up.
