It has been a while since I tried to perform minor surgery on a vehicle. Trying to save money and get the suburban ready to head down to Phoenix, I decided to replace the spark plugs for starters. Just something basic and not too difficult for my low IQ level. Well, it took me about an hour to change two of the eight spark plugs before I called it a day. You shouldn't send a failed graphic designer to do a man's work.

The first plug that I changed what the easiest to reach. I pulled and pulled at the wire, then finally it came off and part of it had stayed on the plug. So, one plug wire shot. I finally got the plug out and it was pretty fouled up. It took me another 30 minutes to try and get the new one in. I ended up putting an old piece of hose on the end in order to get in the hole and started in the treads. Then it took me about the same time to get at the second one. On the third one, I couldn't get the plug wire off so I gave up until tomorrow. All my patience had been drained from my body. It was time to move on to other things before certain words escaped from my lips.

This means that I will not be taking the boys to their cub scout pack meeting tonight. I will have to get a new set of plug wires now. I am sure it is not cheap.
