Snow Snow, go away!

Snow. Again. I thought we were done with it, but I guess not. At least it is only flurries and not really accumulating on the ground too much. And it is 23F outside. I was hoping to let the kids play outside today so I could get some stuff done, but not this weekend. I guess I will shoot for next weekend, but I won't hold my breath.

I finally put together the swing for baby H. It is really cool. It goes side to side and has a rotating light and plays soothing music. She seems to like it.

Having the baby really makes me want to be a stay at home parent again. I really miss it. It will be some time before I would be able to stay at home, if ever. Right now, we really need for both of us working. It is really difficult trying to coordinate things with only having one vehicle and M's mom working now and needing transportation also. I just seems like we can never get ahead anymore no matter how hard we try. The Power Ball is up to 115 million, but someone won a big jackpot in St. Louis a few weeks ago. The chance of another big jackpot in the same state is pretty slim.

Oh, well. Kids are up and I have a lot of work to do today as usual. Maybe this time I will get some of it done.

PS. H is starting to smile now. It is really cute. Also, she is trying to "talk". Sometimes she will try and make noises...you can tell that she is really trying and really wants to...There is almost nothing like seeing your baby smiling for the first time. For that matter, all your baby's "first times"...first cry, first smile, first word, first steps, first day of school...then the "first times" start to get less cute like their first bad word, first lie (although is hard to know when the first one was)...any you get my point.
