Another summer is here. Another four months of unbearable heat. Another summer with an airconditioning system that doesn't work. Another summer of me complaining about everything.
Enough of me whining.
Yesterday I gook my stepdaughter to the library and helped her find some books. My two sons really wanted to go too, but it is almost impossible to look for anything with them running around. Besides, last time I got them some books and they tore one of them up.
They have another reading contest for kids at the library and got my daughter started. I would like to finish it this time. It is hard to get her interested in reading. When I was growing up, I did a lot of reading. I read story books, and reference books. I can't even get her to read a few pages in a book. Maybe I should turn the TV off for a while.
