Since there was nothing at the theaters that we wanted to see, we went home.
As we approached our front door, we observed a hideous creature roaming around the door jam. It looked like something that had fought Godzilla back in the day. I couldn't open the door without risking it attacking the kids. Reacting in a flash, I grabbed the bug spray that I have sitting on the front porch just waiting for an occasion like this. I attacked with lightning speed, dousing the alien life form with the toxic liquid. The poison had an immediate effect, slowing the creature. I located a weapon (stick) and quickly went to work killing the monster before it could destroy Tokyo. After hiding the evidence of the battle, we calmly entered our house, not wanting to upset the kids with the details of the horrible and violent battle that just took place.
After our brush with death, we got the kids off to bed and settled in with a movie from Netflix, Morning Glory, that was surprisingly good. Now time for a night cap.
Good night everyone.
