Finally we got a bit of rain yesterday. It has been a while since we have gotten any precipitation here. We still need a lot more before they will lift the campfire ban. Hopefully soon so that we can go camping. We just might get some more rain today.
Yesterday, while dropping my daughter off at high school, I saw something that turned my stomach. A male student pulled up in a Hummer H3. I know that it is probably his parents, but in this town it wouldn't surprise me if they bought it for him. Either way, I don't think it shows good parenting. Something severely lacking around here.
Just one more thing to help me prove my theory that in this town there are only two types of people, the rich and the poor.
