Currently, the kids are having lots of fun playing out front with their bubbles that they got in their Easter bags. I am always amazed how much enjoyment they can get out of something so simple.
Earlier, my teenage daughter hid a combination of real and plastic eggs for the younger ones to "hunt". They had fun. Every year the seem to have less and less fun with Easter. All too soon they will be all grown up.
Unfortunately, my wife had to work today. She is better at the holiday stuff than I am. At least I tried. But no matter how hard I try, things never work out how I want them to.
These are the trials and tribulations of a regular guy who bacame his children's Dad.
