Today is the last official day of the kids Fall break and I am extremely happy about it despite not having to shuttle them back and forth from school. Unfortunately though, I did not get any of the house work that I intended to do. Although I did get my office set up in the back room finally.
And speaking of my office in the back room, I am glad to now have a place of my own to do my writing and research at. It is not much, but having my own little place means a lot. Now, I just have to put it to good use and not let all that work be for naught.
I took the kids to the park yesterday. It was a really nice day out. Apparently, we got there just before the local Moms group was having a play date because there were lots of moms and kids. Too bad there weren't any stay-at-home dads groups around here. Maybe I should start one.
These are the trials and tribulations of a regular guy who bacame his children's Dad.
