Last night was game one in the NBA's Western Conference finals. The Suns played the Lakers. They didn't start off so bad, but after the first quarter, things went down hill. The Suns ended up losing by 22 points.

Today is the day that people get to vote on proposition 100 which, if passed will add a 1% to the Arizona state sales tax. The news had given attention to both pro and con but mostly to the pro. I hope that it doesn't pass, but am afraid that it will. The proponents list all the things that will suffer, especially the children, if the proposition doesn’t pass. Their tactic is to use fear and guilt to sway the voters. But the reality is that the more money the government gets the more they will spend and the more they will ask for next time. The government is full of politicos and politicos love to spend other people’s money. Governments should be required to cut waste, spending and tighten their belts just like businesses and individual citizens do when faced with income shortages. So, I give a big no vote. When my wife and I are short on money, we find ways to deal with it. We can't take money from others to pay for our problems.

I will be going to bed soon. I just finished up dishes. Another day gone and nothing really got done today.

I did win an auction on eBay earlier. There was an NEC PC-8201A for sale. It didn't really come with anything, but the price was only at $10 so I bid $20 thinking that it would get a lot higher than that. Well, it didn't. It got to just over $10. But the shipping was $20. I don't know why I even bid on it. I have all kids of devices to write on. Several are way better than it. I guess that I am just retarded or something.

Well, I need to get to bed now. I am way past tired.

Since we don't have to babysit, I will try and take the kids to the park tomorrow.
