Home watching Cops. Today is my oldest son's birthday. He turned eight. I can't believe he is eight. Time sure flies. And my other son turned seven last week. We have come a long way since they were born. They are growing up too fast and I am just growing old too fast.
In only a little over a week, we will be homeschooling my two boys. We received the school computer and all their books and supplies. They don't seem to be too excited about being at home for school but maybe once we get started they will change their attitude hopefully. I know I should be excited but am having feelings of apprehension and fear. But then again, that seems to be my normal SOP. Around ten this morning, I took the kids for a walk to the "wilderness". Two blocks away is a trail that is actually a road at the edge of town that goes into the National Forest. I should have left earlier because it was already getting hot. Other than the heat, it was a pretty good walk.
These are the trials and tribulations of a regular guy who bacame his children's Dad.
