Plastic Play House

When we were living in Phoenix, we bought a plastic play house from the guy across the street who was having a yard sale. The kids were small enough to easily play inside. I think we had it for about a year and a half or so before we moved to Missouri. They really liked playing in it though.

Well, it has been about three years since we had that toy house and now we have another one exactly like it and just as used. I checked the mail a few days ago and found a letter that was for the family across the street, so I walked over there to return it. The woman asked if I wanted a play house for my kids as hers were too big for it now. I said yes and she mentioned that she would have her older kids bring it over and put it by the garage.

The next day sometime they brought it over. When my two youngest daughters saw it, they jumped up and down and ran right to it and started playing. Earlier, I had to get my oldest daughter (13yr old) to help me put it over the back fence so they could play in it.

Well, they have been playing in it for over two hours strait and I haven't heard any signs of their usual fighting. I can't believe it. My two boys are almost too big to fit into it, but they are having all kinds of adventures in and around it. I am glad, because they need to be playing outside instead of watching TV.

It is funny how something like that can change their whole outlook and get them to play nice together.
