Cub Scouts

I am finally back online after a brief absence that was beyond my control.

Last night I took my two boys to their cub scout pac meeting. The meeting was fairly short with some more information about the camp out this month. At the end, we finally got into our dens. Z is in Wolf and J is in Tigers. As of the meeting, they still hadn't found a leader for the Wolf den and they mentioned that I do it. I pretty much declined because I have a hard enough time managing my things at home and my own kids. I don't think I could have done a very good job at it. I know my limitations. Lucky for me, one of the other parents stepped up and said they would do the job.

Z and J's dens met on different nights. I wish they had been as well organized as the pac that Z went to in Missouri. They all met on the same night.

I hope I will be able to divide my time between the to boys so they get the attention they need. I can combine most of the time because a lot of the beginning things in their books are similar.

I am kind of excited about the camping trip coming up. I haven't been camping in two years and am very anxious to get back at it. I know it is a little late in the year, but we finally got settled down back in Arizona so I am glad to get at least one camping trip this year.
