She Amazes Me

I wish I would have discovered blogging way back when. There has been so many things that I have wanted to and should have written about becoming a Father and especially an at home Dad.

I tried to keep one on my laptop, but was very sporatic in my writing. I know I am the same on here but not as bad.

Anyway, I just remembered something my 9month old daughter Z did a few weeks back. It amazed me, but parents who have been at this longer than I have probably have seen it before.

While taking care of the kids, as I always do, Z was sitting on the floor playing with her older brothers and an assortment of toys. I saw she was doing fine and went to the kitchen to get something. A minute later my oldest son came running telling me that Z had spit up. So I went in to check and sure enough she had...and quite a lot. But the amazing thing about it was she had gotten a sock from the as yet unfolded laundry on the couch and was trying to clean it up. She wasn't even 9months yet! How did she know to do that...from watching me I am sure, but that she would try it herself at that age.

I don't know. Maybe I am just not that smart and little common things I think are not common and amazing. Either way, it gave me a good laugh too.
