Amazon Kindle

Last month, I purchased an Amazon Kindle for my wife for our 10th anniversary. She really liked it and even purchased several books to read. She started to read a book then got busy. After about three weeks, she wanted me to charge it. I opened up the case to find the screen all jumbled up and a portion of it blank. It also would turn on or anything. I called Amazon Customer Service and they were really helpful. They didn't ask many questions, and immediately send out a replacement that we received the next day. I give Amazon's customer service two thumbs up.

I have one also and really like it. I have put on over 200 books that I got from various sources using Caliber ebook software and everything works perfectly. I would not read books any other way unless I had to. My teen daughter refuses to use an ebook reader stating that she likes the feel of books and if you drop them, they won't break. I will give her that one though. These ebook readers are pretty fragile and we can't afford to buy another one if it breaks again.
