This is the third day since I had two teeth extracted, or for those of you in Wisconson, pulled. The dentist didn't say how long till it would take to heal, but I was hoping for sooner than later. Unfortunately, it is looking like later.

Hopefully it will well on its way to being healed up if not already healed by the time my wife and I go to Las Vegas for our tenth anniversary. We got married in Las Vegas so we thought it fitting to return for our tenth.

The last and only time we were there, we stayed at the Orleans, off the strip. This time we will stay downtown on Fremont street. We don't have anything specific planed, but I would like to visit that pawn shop featured on cable TV. Who knows,we might find something cool. We do have reservations for a steak house there, so I am really hoping that my mouth is pretty much healed. Can't eat stake with a sore mouth.

Thankfully we got our tax return in time for our anniversary so I was able to get her a gift this year. I got her a new Amazon Kindle. She is a sporadic reader but maybe with the Kindle, like fiber, will make her more regular. I told her I got her something, now she wants to get me something and asked me what I wanted. I told her I didn't deserve anything, but that didn't go over too well. I guess I have to come up with something.
