Well, today is the big day that I attempt to fix the truck. I now have the parts and the tools that I believe are required, I am just missing one key thing, knowledge. I have never put a new key ignition lock in a vehicle before so I am not quite sure how difficult it will be. The book I have shows a generic procedure for removing the steering wheel, and it doesn't seem that difficult. But, I have a tendency to make things more difficult and complicated than necessary.

Probably the most important thing today, is that it is the 9th anniversary of the terrorist attack in New York. It is one of those events, like when JFK was assassinated in my parents day, that I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing nine years ago. I remember the anger and the fear and the anguish and sorrow.

One thing that I am thankful for on that day and they days afterward is that George W. Bush was the President of the United States. Things would have been a lot different and not for the better of someone like Bill Clinton or God forbid, Barak Hussein Obama. And, I truly believe that some time from now, President Bush will be recognized as one of the best, if not the best, presidents that we have ever had in this country.
