What a long day yesterday. After finally getting everyone breakfast and cleaning up camp we were off to Coronado island. We hit the beach with a big surprise. There were, what seemed like, thousands of people. They had tents, umbrellas, easy-ups...they were just everywhere. And the sand was really hot. We usually come in April when it is cooler and the off season. This year our plans changed and we came in the middle of the season. What a difference. Even the KOA camp ground in Chula Vista is packed.

We all got burned of course, but luckily this time the kids were only barely burned. Only the back of my legs were burned this time.

After the beach we walked an camp. We had hot dogs and chips. Later, they made smores at the camp fire.

The kids must have been really tired because the didn't even stay awake for to watch the movie on the DVD player.

We are all ready but waiting for M's mom and sister to get going. We are going to the shopping area by the bay for a while then who knows.
at the sprinklers wouldn't be hitting it when they watered the grass at night. Apparently I moved it across an ant highway because when we woke up they were making their way inside and all over the outside.

It started raining when M and her mom got back from the store with dinner. I was inside the tent with the kids. We quickly put rain to stop. At least it will provide shade during the day.
