I figure that my blog has got to be the most boring and uninformative in the whole blogasphere.
First, the content is bad and boring. Who wants to read about my interest in an old computer or when I go to the store, or my kids get sick.
Second, I am not a good writer. My vocabulary is limited and I am not very creative.
Third, no one knows it exists. I guess if I want more viewership, I need to let people know I am here.
I guess the first thing that I can do is to improve the content. I know I don't like to read boring blogs. Although I have followed some personal ones that were kind of boring but interesting to read about other peoples lives.
Next, I need to increase my vocabulary and creativity. I have been just writing day to day things like taking the kids to the park, what I watched on TV.
I tried a blog that was from the point of view of a fictional character that was going through some life problems. It has two followers. One of them thought it
was a real person even though in the profile and byline notified the viewer that it was a fictional blog. Maybe I should continue posting to it and posting it to Twitter or maybe some other blog site.
Yesterday it got to 98 there in Payson. That is pretty hot for here. I can't imagine how hot it was down in Phoenix. It is just as well, the kids are still sick so playing outside in the heat probably wouldn't have been the best thing.
Still no work on the adoption. We did your part so far. The woman that interviewed us also interviewed my mom, my friend Tom and my friend Chris. They seemed pretty positive, but I am sure that the criteria that she judges us fit or not fit to adopt is pretty strict as it should be. Now, once the social services in Colorado get the paper work, it is up to them to decide yea or nay. And, even if we get the green light, we still have to meet the girl see if she would like to live with us.
I am nervous about the whole thing. I know that having her come live with us and her half sister N would be the right thing, but we don't have the best house, or a lot of income. Most of the things that we do have are from thrift stores or yard sales. Our house is not the cleanest and can be messy at times. I don't know that she would like living here. She has not had the best life and deserves a good one.
