Well, another day in the can. Dishes are done, the kids are all in bed, though not all asleep. The boys are watching a movie and N, more than likely is still up reading. M is on the computer and me, I am watching the news typing this post on my trusty old Tandy WP-2 portable word processor. Yes, I could be using something more modern like our net book, but not matter what new computer, laptop or gadget comes along, they will never compare to it. The only way I will stop using it, is if I no longer have access to a serial port.
Today was a pretty good day. The kids did some lessons for school and weren't too bad. They did a live lesson for an hour. J had a few melt downs because he couldn't spell a word or two in time to answer a question before the teacher moved on to other things. We babysat tonight so M's coworker could go out for her birthday. I know it hasn't been too long since one of my kids were that age, but man can a 7 month old take all the energy out of you. He is not any problem, but for some reason, just wears me out.
These are the trials and tribulations of a regular guy who bacame his children's Dad.
