Home. Kids are watching Christmas show on TV. H is in the back room playing a video game, and M was doing some sewing. Me? Just being an observer at the moment. The weather today is pretty much what it was yesterday. Cold, cloudy, possible rain later with some wind.
M is thinking about going over to her mom's house to take some Christmas pictures later. Yesterday they came over in the afternoon and had dinner with us. The kids watched the new G.I. Joe movie.
I wrote an outline for a short story about when N and I saw the shadows when we were kids. N and I re-hash it every so often so I thought I would put it down to "paper" so to speak. Plus it will give me some practice writing. Hopefully by next year I will be ready for the NaNoWriMo. I got more that twice as far this year as last. Maybe my quality will increase not just the quantity.
Here is a little poem that I posted on Twitter and my blog:
Christmas comes and Christmas goes
Returning toys, returning clothes
Return to work, return to school
Forgetting Jesus, we are fools.
One thing I hate about Christmas is never having money to get peple anything. Last year, I borrowed money from my mom and sister to get my wife two things, but then keep forgetting to pay them back. Now, if I pay them back now, I won't have money to get her anything this year. I am always getting myself into these situations.
