Marie's mom's house. Our power went out about two hours ago. A big thunderstorm hit earlier. I was thundering really loud and then heavy rain and hail came. During the hail, there was a really bright flash of lightning and then the power went out. We waited and waited for it to come back on but it didn't.
We called the power company and they said there was no ETA for when it ws up and running again. We were getting hungry so we decided to take food over here and have dinner, hoping that when we came home the power would be restored.

In the process of trying to get an old laptop from one of my older brother ready for NaNoWriMo in November, I screwed it up. I deleted Novel NetWare to make room for Eudora because the hard drive is so small. Well now, it will not boot up. It looks for the Novel files that I deleted and then locks up. I was looking forward to using it, but as usual, i screwed things up.
These are the trials and tribulations of a regular guy who bacame his children's Dad.
