Home. My overnight camping trip with the boys went OK. The first day pretty much went without a hitch. My dad's old tent went up like a dream. The weather was a little warm, but at least it didn't rain. The boys were somewhat bored without TV. They played in the tent, and ran around. Unfortunately they fixated on the campfire.
A few hours after we got back home, early afternoon, I went out front for something, and noticed there was smoke all over and it smelled like a fire. The smoke started irritating my eyes a nd made it difficult to breathe. when I went inside, across the news came the story about a fire burning North-East of Payson down the very road where we had camped. Not the same campground, but several miles down the same road. It is still burning, but should be fully contained soon.
School went well today. The boys had a few tantrums, but for the most part, everything went OK.
These are the trials and tribulations of a regular guy who bacame his children's Dad.
