After two days of being overcast, the sun is out and the clouds are gone. It is shaping up to be a nice day outside.

It had been raining off and on all day yesterday. I was charged with grilling burgers and hot dogs. During the first batch of burgers it started to rain. To the west there weren't many clouds so the sun was coming through pretty good. The conditions were perfect for the forming of a rainbow. So I told the kids who were playing on the porch that a rainbow was going to appear. The couldn't see anything at that time so they didn't believe me. But after a few moments, it started to show itself. The kids weren't that excited so they went back to playing. Then after about five minutes, there it was in all it's glory. As time went on, the brighter it got. My son J excitedly told me that at the end of the rainbow was a pot of gold and since we needed money we should drive around until we found it. Needless to say, I laughed and laughed.
