Family Trip

Next week we are going on a trip to San Diego. I know, M and just went last month, but that was for us to spend time without the kids. This time it will be everyone. Even M's Mom, sister (and her two girls) and uncle. There are only a few days left to get things in order so I will have to make this short.

This time, instead of staying in a hotel and eating out for every meal, we are going to stay at the KOA Kampground just south of San Diego in Chula Vista. We are going to stay in one of their two room Kabins and her family will stay in another. We have never done this before so I don't know what to expect. Hopefully it will workout to be cheaper than getting a hotel room. We will be eating most of our meals at the Kabin and spend the rest of the time at the beach. I am also going to try and find a way for us to get to Coronado to the beach there.

M works Saturday and Sunday, so we only have today and Friday to get most things worked out. I hope to leave early Monday because with six kids in our convoy, there will be frequent stops. Last time we went to San Diego, it took us almost twice as long as it did with must M and I. Hopefully we will be able to minimize the stops.

I am going to try and take my laptop and post here from there. They are supposed to have a access to a dataport for free.

I am somewhat excited about the trip, but at the same time, not so because I know from past trips what can happen, but I am looking forward to watching the kids at the beach especially Z who is only 20mos. old. I am sure it will be fun.
