Tomorrow is the Big Day

Tomorrow is the beginning of our second attempt at taking the family camping. This time my wife's Mom, sister and sister's two girls are coming also. They have a seperate campsite from us. Unfortunately we couldn't reserve them next to each other.

The goofball brothers have been pestering me about camping for the past two weeks. They especially are fixated on their lights. We bought them each their own light and they keep trying to get at them and asking when we are going camping so they can have them.

The last time we went, the goofball brothers were fixated on washing their hands and playing in the water in the basin. The campground has regular restrooms with running water and such, but I like to keep a wash basin at camp. Well, the boys just couldn't leave it alone. It was partly my fault because I forgot to bring toys for them to play with so I guess they played with the water.

I am excited and looking forward to this camping trip. I checked the weather and it shows it to be sunny except for the days we will be there, then it gets sunny again. Sometimes I think God doesn't like me. The rain ruined our last camping trip over a month ago, and looks like it will ruin this one as well. We will see what happens I guess.

It is only a two hour drive to the campground, but I don't know how I will do driving. I am so tired because I have been staying up past midnight every night for the past two weeks because my 11mo. old has changed her sleep habits and won't go to sleep till then. The boys went throught he same thing. I would normally just put her to bed so she can learn do fall to sleep on her own like the boys did, but my older daughter sleeps in the same room and has school. I don't really want to keep her awake like that. Maybe there is some trick to it that I don't know about.
